Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, if you are uninsured or are not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost.
- You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service, or at any time.
- You should receive it in writing at least one business day before your appointment.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.
